Finally I went for a consultation for braces!
After all these years, my mum finally suggested that I stop waiting for the government's dentistry to do my braces which I have already been waiting for almost 3 years.
My mum and I went to the dentist this afternoon near my school in Pudu.
Eileen suggested that place as her braces was cheaper than my other friend's.
Eileen did for only RM4000+ but the dentist told me mine was RM5000+.
Why?
Apparently my case is quite a special and difficult one :P
And I have to extract 4 teeth within 2 weeks!
2 teeth a week!
I'm not gonna complain. Must not.
My mum's paying and I have been bugging to get this braces thing since the dino age.
So, must as well become a good girl and not piss her off.
I am excited and nervous at the same time.
I have been to the dentist's a few times but all I did there was filling.
I pulled all of my teeth out on my own when I was younger.
So this extraction thing is totally new.
But the best of all has to be that I get to keep my fangs :)
My friends envy my sharp fangs. Heh :)
It's sharp because I am vegetarian most of the time so the fangs are useless most of the time.
I have to say that I have started to like it.
I used to hate it, saying it makes me look weird.
But I guess their admiration made me like my fangs.
Heh xP
Anyway, I was telling my mum how this dentist must be an old man since it's Pudu area.
Everything's old here in Pudu, that's what I thought.
While waiting for the dentist to come back from his lunch break, I took a look at the black framed black and white pictures hanging on the wall.
All of them had a 'Nick Ng' followed by a date.
One side of the wall were pictures of and old lady who I think is Madam Tham since pictures of her had a title like, 'Madam Tham Series II' etc.
The other side of the wall had random pictures depicting life of our grandfather's time.
Reading newspapers with those large round glasses, a white singlet and shorts.
On the table will be that typical white cup and saucer with the dark green flower design which is a common a sight at old coffee shops.
Note that all the pictures were in black and white which gives out a nostalgic feel.
I was admiring, and admiring until, 'Oh.'
It was a picture of Sek Yuen Restaurant.
The restaurant was just a few shops away.
So......

Ahhhh~~~ He must me an avid photographer...
Interesting...
But wait!
I start to imagine a man in his 40s holding a DSLR clicking off around Pudu.
Doesn't seem right but it doesn't matter how old you are to be interested in photography.
So, stalking for the day shows that,
1. Dr. Ng's English name is Nick
2. Has great camera skills
3. Is old because his clinic is in Pudu
Suddenly, I saw this not too bad looking young guy going inside a room without being called and the regulars were smiling at him.
See how I said 'guy' and not 'man'?
Because he looked like a 'guy' and nothing like a 'man'.
Mum : I thought you said the dentist is an old man?
Me : Is that him?! OMG, why so young???
Like I wanted an old man as my dentist :P
So when it was my turn, I went inside and saw a guy who is around his early 30s, I guess, on a stool smiling at me and my mum.
I sat at the chair and told him about the braces thingy and I realised that he has stubs.
Is that what you call it?
It's definitely not a beard but it's not a mustache either.
It's like you shave yesterday and you didn't shave today.
So it starts growing, short, short...

The whole facial hair thing is not really defined.
That's how the dentist looked like and he had on a T-shirt and jeans with holes at the knee part.
So, yeah, now I know he is not old and he is okay, quite good looking and rugged for a dentist.
He looks more like a photographer though xD
Anyways, when he was asking me to bite and open my mouth so he can see my teeth, I can't help but to look at his pretty eyes.
Don't get me wrong.
I'm not having a crush on the dentist is just that I love to admire pretty things and admire special people.
C'mon..he's got really pretty eyes for a guy.
I tried looking away, damn awkward but he doesn't realise because he was looking at my teeth.
Or maybe he is used to it.
Or maybe someone actually already told him that he has pretty eyes xD
